Openings!

We are always seeking self-driven, curious, and creative young scientists and engineers to join our group and lead innovations in qubit-photon interactions at the forefront of quantum science and technology. Our group, along with the departments of Columbia University in the City of New York, provides unique opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, fostering an environment where next generation researchers can thrive.

Postdoctoral Scholars

Postdoctoral candidates are invited to email Prof. Zhang directly with your CV (including reference contact). We are always looking for exceptional individuals! Backgrounds in microwave or optics measurements, experimental quantum systems, and nanofabrication are particularly welcome.

Graduate Students

The Columbia Applied Physics and Applied Math (APAM) program offers a unique blend of expertise in optical and solid-state systems, materials science, and plasma physics. We also welcome candidates from other programs and schools. Mention our group when submitting your application materials in December.

Undergraduates

Motivated students, especially those in engineering and physics, are encouraged to apply. Explore Columbia's undergraduate programs and the M.S. in Quantum Science and Technology program .
